We Just Met

Contact capture where the other person needs nothing. They speak, you selfie, and thirty seconds later their contact is saved, enriched with their LinkedIn, and a composed WhatsApp message with the selfie sits in their chat, one tap from send. They installed nothing, scanned nothing, signed up for nothing.

Sideload the APK, open "Just Met", fill the one-time "This is you." card, and you are on the listening orb. WhatsApp must be installed.

The 30-second flow

The orb listens (gold ring while it hears you). The person you met says their name, number, company, and what you talked about.
Tap the orb or pause: "Ready for selfie, 3-2-1-GO". The camera opens while extraction runs in parallel on Convex.
The Review card arrives pre-filled, every field editable, message auto-composed from your saved profile (name, about, LinkedIn, Instagram).
"Send on WhatsApp" lands directly inside their chat via the jid intent extra (verified on device): selfie + message staged, one tap on WhatsApp's own send arrow.
Contact and selfie land in Convex; Context.dev finds their LinkedIn profile and role; the dashboard updates live with a gold "Connect on LinkedIn" chip and a 48h follow-up countdown.

The wedge

Every rival (HiHello, Blinq, Popl, Mobilo) needs both people in the system. This needs one. Capture wins you the right to win follow-up, and follow-up is where the category dies. The selfie plus "the thing we said we would do" is what restarts the relationship three weeks later.

Devin (Cognition)

Built the entire product in one day of CLI sessions. Every commit in the repo is Devin's: Android app, Convex backend, dashboard, deploys, on-device verification.

Convex

Contacts DB, selfie file storage, live dashboard subscription, server-side extraction action, enrichment pipeline state. Project provisioned via the Management API from a team token.

Context.dev

The enrichment layer. After every save, a Convex action finds the person (name + company): People Enrichment API first, Web Search fallback. Proven live: "Sundar Pichai / Google" resolved to CEO plus the real LinkedIn profile URL.

Architecture

Brain	Convex action: spoken digit words to E.164 (+971 default), name/role/company/note extraction; the editable Review card is the human net

Dashboard	Vite + React on Vercel, live everywhere via the Convex websocket

Honest edges

LinkedIn connect is one human click on the enriched profile. Deliberate: no ToS-breaking automation, and no public invite API exists.
The release APK is debug-key signed for sideload distribution; a real keystore goes in before any store upload.
The 48h follow-up nudge renders as a live countdown chip; the scheduled send function is the first post-hackathon task.
